Wet masonry of CCEWOOL mullite insulation fire brick 1

This text mainly explains the process of CCEWOOL mullite insulation brick masonry and its precautions.
Ⅰ. Process sequence
Mix and build mud→process inspection→Sawing and machining mullite insulation bricks→masonry
Ⅱ. Mix and build mud
(1)When refractory mortar or clay mud is used as masonry mud, it should be stirred with machine, stirring time shall not be less than 5min, and the consistency of mud will be controlled by adding water.
(2)In the absence of mechanical agitation conditions, it is appropriate to use soaking method, ie soaking the raw materials of masonry in water, allow it to naturally percolate, soaking time shall not be less than 24 hours. After soaking remove excess water and mix.
Ⅲ. Process inspection
(1)Before masonry of mullite insulation bricks, we should check whether the contact surface of the insulating brick and kiln shell meets the requirements.
(2)When building heavy walls of furnace, we should check the quality of previous masonry and whether the installation of accessory is correct.
Ⅳ. Sawing and machining
(1)Brick used for break joint of insulation masonry and other machined brick should be cut or sawed with hand saw or hacksaw, cannot be cut with brick knife.
(2)When batch processing of mullite insulation fire brick, sample plate should be used to control, line should be marked with saw or steel needle.
(3)In order to improve the machining accuracy, at the contact of the mullite insulation brick and the special-shaped steel components, we should use embossing method to determine the processing line.
This week we explained process of CCEWOOL mullite insulation brick masonry and its precautions. Hope this can bring some help to furnace builders and worker. Next week we will continue to elaborate on the masonry mullite inusation fire brick. Please stay tuned.
