Use refractory insulation mortar to build refractory insulation product

Refractory insulation mortar is composed of heavy and light refractory raw material, binder, additive, which is specially used for building refractory insulation product. It is classified into two categories: aluminum silicate and siliceous.
As we all know, the apparent porosity of refractory insulation products is greater than 45%, so its water absorption rate is high. Traditional refractory mortar has poor spreadability, poor kneading ability, and it is difficult to guarantee the mortar joints, and mortar joint is not full. The newly developed heat-insulating refractory mortar overcomes these shortcomings and ensures good masonry quality.
Refractory powder for making refractory insulation mortar: heavy materials include high alumina bauxite clinker, clay clinker, silica brick and semi-silica brick, etc. Lightweight materials include various types of thermal insulation brick powder, hollow balls, pulverized coal floating beads and microbeads, etc. The binders are mainly aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, dextrin, water glass and polysaccharide starch, etc. The additives are lignin sulfonic acid Salt, polyphosphate, etc. Soft clay is mainly used as plasticizer, kyanite and silica are used as expansion agent.
Since the heat-insulating refractory mud contains light materials, 1/2 of the amount of water should be added to mix for a few minutes during mixing, and then the remaining water should be added to mix evenly. The total mixing time should not be less than 20 minutes. The mixed mortar should be left standing for about 0.5h before use.
