2. Performance of mullite brick.
The properties of mullite bricks are mainly determined by the properties of mullite. It has high refractoriness, high softening temperature under load, low high-temperature creep rate, excellent thermal shock resistance, slag corrosion resistance, high shear modulus, etc. Mullite refractory bricks are widely used, mainly used in high temperature hot blast stove, large blast furnace hearth and bottom, steel-making electric furnace top, ceramic industry kiln lining, kiln furniture, and glass kiln cement lining etc. .
The sintered mullite bricks produced with sintered synthetic mullite have good corrosion resistance and impact resistance, and have achieved satisfactory application performance.
