Main points of masonry construction of refractory insulation materials for aluminum melting furnace

The aluminum processing industry is a rapidly developing industry in China. The quality of refractory insulation materials used in aluminum casting smelting furnaces and the quality of masonry construction can directly affect the service life of the furnace body. The construction party shall strictly meet the following requirements:
一 Furnace bottom masonry
1. Check the metal furnace shell.
2. Mark the horizontal elevation of the furnace bottom thickness and the lowest elevation of the furnace shell.
3. Leveling the bottom of the furnace. The furnace bottom can be leveled with alumina powder or refractory bricks.
4.Lay asbestos board . A layer of l0mm thick asbestos board is laid on the bottom and around the furnace.
5. Build diatomite insulation bricks. Lay dry red bricks or diatomaceous earth insulation bricks on asbestos slabs, the bricks shall be laid in staggered joints. The horizontal joints shall not be larger than 5mm, the vertical joints shall not be larger than 3mm, and the joints shall be filled with refractory powder.
6. Wet-lay two layers of clay refractory bricks with grout staggered joints, with vertical joints not greater than 2mm and horizontal joints not greater than 3mm.
7. Vertically build a layer of high alumina bricks, the brick gap should be no more than 2mm.
Next issue we will continue to introduce masonry of aluminum melting furnace wall.
