Introduction of mullite lightweight insulating fire brick 2

Last issue we mainly introduced the mullite material. This issue we will continue to introduce 6 characteristics of mullite lightweight insulating fire brick.
Due to its chemical structure, mullite lightweight insulating fire brick has below 6 characteristics.
1 Low thermal conductivity. Very good thermal insulation performance.
2 Low heat capacity. Due to low thermal conductivity, mullite lightweight insulating fire brick accumulate little heat energy, and the energy saving performance is prominent in intermittent operation
3 Low impurity content. Very low oxide content such as iron and alkali metal, therefore, it has high refractoriness. High aluminum content enables it to maintain good performance under reducing atmosphere.
4 High compression strength under high temperature.
5 Accurate appearance dimension speeds up the masonry, reduces the amount of refractory mud, ensures the strength and stability of the masonry, and extends the life of the lining.
6 Can be processed into special shapes. Therefore reduces the number of bricks required and seams in masonry.
