Lightweight high alumina insulation brick is one of the ideal refractory insulation material. It has the characteristics of high compressive strength, low thermal conductivity, good thermal insulation performance and low price, etc. It has been widely used in ceramic tunnel kiln and roller kiln, shuttle kiln, wall kiln, also used in various steel furnaces, coking furnaces and other thermal equipment, heat treatment lining , etc. It has broad market prospects.
Raw material requirements
a Clinker: crushed by wheel mill and vibrating ball mill. Go through respectively 4 mesh sieve (coarse particles), 20 mesh sieve (medium particles), 80 mesh sieve (fine particles), and then stored in the warehouse for use. When using, the material ratio is: Coarse Particles: Medium Particles: Fine Particles = 5:2:3.
b Kaolin: its chemical composition is Al2O3>34%; SiO2<49%; Fe2O3<0.5; CaO+MgO<1.5; K2O+Na2O<0.5.
c Industrial alumina: its chemical composition is: Al2O3>99%; Fe203<0.05%; Si02<0.10%.
The production of lightweight high-alumina insulation bricks uses a large amount of clinker and adopts a new process of high-frequency vibration and pressure forming. The finished product appearance quality and physical and chemical indicators meet or exceed the national standards of similar products. This is a new process which is worthy of promotion.
This issue we mainly introduced light weight high aluminum insulation bricks. Hope this can bring help to furnace builders.
