Factors that affect high aluminum bricks’ price 2

High-alumina refractory brick is a high-alumina refractory material with alumina content more than 45%. It is formed and calcined from bauxite or other raw materials with high alumina content. Its thermal stability is very good, refractoriness above 1770℃. And its slag resistance is good. High alumina bricks are the most widely used type of refractory bricks. Therefore, the price of high alumina bricks directly affects the production cost of enterprises.
Aluminum content affect the price of high alumina bricks
One of the important working properties of high alumina refractory bricks is the structural strength at high temperature, which is usually evaluated by the softening temperature under load. Its high temperature creep property was also measured to reflect its high temperature structural strength. The test results show that the softening temperature under load increases with the increase of Al2O3 content. High-alumina brick manufacturers divide bricks into three grades according to the Al2O3 content: Grade I-Al2O3 content>75%; Grade II-Al2O3 content is 60-75%; Grade III-Al2O3 content is 48-60%. Generally, the three grades divide the high alumina bricks into three price grades.
