Detailed construction steps for tunnel kiln insulation with insulation bricks 2

In the last issue, we introduced the insulation of the kiln wall. In this issue, we will continue to introduce the building of insulation brick and insulation layer of the kiln wall.
1.Building of insulation brick.
The height, thickness and total length of the insulation wall shall comply with the provisions of the drawing design. The masonry method is the same as that of clay refractory bricks, and is built with refractory mortar. Each layer is made of bricks of the same size, and ash seam is controlled within 3mm. The masonry should ensure that the ash is full and the fullness of mortar should be more than 90%. It is strictly forbidden to use a iron hammer to knock bricks when laying bricks. Use a rubber hammer or a wooden hammer to gently tap the surface of the brick to correct it. It is strictly forbidden to cut bricks directly with a brick knife. The bricks to be processed should be cut tidily with the cutting machine, and the required size is ensured. In order to avoid the direct contact of the insulating brick with the open flame in the kiln, the surrounding of the observation hole can be made of refractory brick, and the lap brick of the thermal insulation wall and the thermal insulation blanket and the outer wall should also be built with clay refractory brick.
2.Insulation layer laying
The layer of insulating material filled between the inner wall and the outer wall shall be uniform, full and sealed, and should be water tight. The insulation layer material generally adopts ordinary aluminum silicate fiber needled blanket, and the order size must meet the design requirements and the actual needs of convenient installation. During the installation process, it should be noted that the the blanket must be in close contact and the seam must be pressed. The joints between blanket should be applied with a high-temperature adhesive to make the seal tight and ensure the insulation effect. For the blanket needs to be processed, should be cut neatly with cutting tool to ensure the size preciseness. It is strictly forbidden to tear directly with hand.
Above is the introduction of building of insulation brick and insulation layer laying. Hope this can bring help to furnace builders and contractors. Next issue we will introduce furnace top insulation. Please stay tuned.
