Application of corundum mullite bricks in slag furnace 3

Due to various reasons, it is necessary to frequently stop the furnace, raise and lower the temperature, which will cause frequent rapid thermal shocks to the refractory materials, especially the materials of top nozzles. Therefore, the main refractory material of the DMT slag furnace lining should be thermal shock resistant and corrosion resistant corundum mullite bricks.
Our corundum and mullite bricks are made from smelted fused white corundum which made from high-quality industrial alumina, , synthetic mullite, chromium oxide, etc. as raw materials and through forming and high-temperature sintering. The product has compact structure, high compressive strength, high temperature resistance (≥1790℃), good thermal shock stability, acid and alkaline gas corrosion resistance, and does not affected by reducing gases such as H2, CO, etc.
Corundum mullite bricks have high alumina content, low impurity content and good chemical stability. The strength and stable pore structure of corundum mullite bricks enable the material to be used at high temperatures. Its low density and low thermal conductivity can save a lot of energy.
