Alumina hollow ball brick and its products are a kind of light refractory insulation material with excellent high temperature resistance and energy saving. It is very stable in various atmospheres. It is also effective in reducing the weight of the furnace, transforming the furnace structure, saving materials, and saving energy, especially in the high temperature furnace of 1800℃. Advantages of alumina hollow ball brick :
1. Alumina hollow ball brick’s working temperature is higher:
Its working temperature can reach above 1750 degrees, with good thermal stability. Linear shrinkage after reheating is small. Service life is long.
2. Using alumina hollow ball brick can optimize furnace structure and reduce the weight of furnace body.
The bulk density of heavy refractory bricks is 2.6-3.0g/cm, while density of alumina hollow ball bricks is only 1.1~1.5g/cm. For the same volume of one cubic meter, the use of alumina hollow ball bricks can reduce 1.1- 1.9 tons weight.
