Research and application of CCEWOOL high thermal stability alumina hollow brick

CCEWOOL high thermal stability alumina hollow brick is a kind of refractory material whose service temperature can be as high as 700 ℃. It is widely used in furnace lining where there is no contact with liquid material and temperature changes frequently and thermal shock load is large.
Taking no oxidation furnace as an example, no oxidation furnace belongs to the continuous annealing furnace. Because of the complexity of the silicon steel production, a lot of hydrogen and nitrogen are used as protection gas. Once a device fails, the furnace combustion control system must be shut down immediately and the furnace cools off. As a result, the furnace has a lot of temperature rise and cooling, so the requirement of refractory material in the furnace should have excellent thermal shock stability.
The key to the life of the furnace lining is the thermal shock stability of alumina hollow brick. The presence of mullite phase in the CCEWOOL alumina hollow brick can improve the thermal shock stability of the brick. We studied the influence to the forming of mullite and the influence to the thermal stability of alumina hollow brick by type of raw material, mineralizer, raw material processing technology, ingredients and firing process system in proportion to the influence of mullite formation。 Use alumina hollow ball and alumina powder flavour as the main raw material adding proper amount of clay, etc., with phosphate as binder, after manual forming and high temperature firing stability CCEWOOL alumina hollow brick.
