Lightweight Clay Insulation Brick 1

Lightweight clay bricks generally refer to foamed bricks. Normal indoor partition walls use this kind of bricks, which will not increase the load on the floor, and the sound insulation effect is good! The high strength clay bricks are made of high-quality plate-shaped corundum and mullite as aggregates, the sillimanite compound as the matrix, and special additives and a small amount of rare earth oxides are added for mixing. Through high-pressure molding and high-temperature firing, the raw materials are made into bricks. Ordinary lightweight clay insulation bricks are clay bricks, high-alumina and high-strength floating bead bricks, low-iron mullite bricks, high-aluminum poly-light heat-insulating refractory bricks, and diatomite heat-insulating refractory bricks.
The advantages of light clay bricks:
1. Economical: It can reduce the cost of the foundation, reduce the cross-section of the frame, save the concrete use and can significantly save the comprehensive cost of the building. Compared with solid clay bricks, the design and use of lightweight bricks can reduce the overall cost by more than 5%.
2. Practicability: The use of lightweight bricks can increase the usable area, and at the same time, due to the good heat insulation performance of aerated concrete, in hot summer, the indoor temperature is 2-3°C lower than that of solid clay bricks. This will reduces air-condition’s power consumption.
3. Constructability: Lightweight bricks are convenient for installation. Due to their large blocks and light weight, they can reduce labor intensity, improve construction efficiency, and shorten construction period.
