Production technology and performance of mullite brick 1

There are two main types of mullite brick production methods: sintered mullite bricks and fused mullite bricks. The production methods of these two kinds of mullite bricks are different, and their performance and quality are also very different. The following introduces the production technology and performance of mullite bricks:
1. Production process of sintered mullite brick
The production process of sintered mullite bricks is the same as that of high-alumina bricks. It mainly uses synthetic mullite clinker as granules. And sometimes synthetic mullite clinker fine powder is also used. And synthetic powder made of white corundum, quartz powder and pure clay, etc., which is equivalent to mullite is also acceptable. Mix powder. The granular material and the fine powder are mixed in proportion, and the commonly used ratio is: granular material 45%-55%, fine powder (<0.088mm) 55%-45%. After uniform mixing, high pressure forming. The firing temperature is 1550~1600℃. When fused synthetic mullite clinker granular is used, the firing temperature should be higher than 1700°C. The purity of the raw materials, the fineness of the raw materials and the firing temperature are extremely important process factors that affect the quality of bricks.
Next issue we will continue to introduce performance of mullite bricks. Please stay tuned.
